AKTU 2026-27 scheme (new stream-wise B.Tech course structure) · 100 marks: 30 internal (CIE) + 70 end-sem theory, 3 hours, 3 credits (theory only, no separate programming lab listed). Recent AKTU C papers (BCS101/BCS201) used: Section A 7 x 2 = 14 (attempt all), Section B any 3 of 5 x 7 = 21, Section C 5 questions with one of two parts each, 5 x 7 = 35. Confirm the ACS101 paper format when the first 2026-27 paper is released.

One-Night Pass Pack

Precedence decides which operator is evaluated first; associativity decides the order when operators have equal precedence. Order (high to low): () [] -> unary (++ -- ! sizeof) -> * / % -> + - -> relational -> == != -> && -> || -> ?: -> assignment. Most binary operators are left to right; unary, ?: and assignment are right to left. Example: 2 + 3 * 4 = 14; 20 / 5 * 2 = 8 (left to right); a = b = 5 assigns right to left.
Full-marks tip: Draw a small precedence table (5-6 rows) with an associativity column, then solve 2-3 expressions step by step. Old BCS101/BCS201 papers asked this in 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25, so practise them too.

Standard textbook

Not verified: the official ACS101 textbook list could not be opened. For the C units, E. Balagurusamy, Programming in ANSI C (McGraw Hill) is the usual first-year text; use any standard Python primer for Units IV and V.

Exam guide students buy

Quantum Series (Quantum Publications): check for an ACS101 Programming Languages edition for 2026-27; the older PPS (BCS101) Quantum covers only the C units.

Unit-wise short and long answers with solved AKTU papers. Buy the edition that matches your scheme code (BCS/BAS, not the old KCS/KAS).

Local market tip

Buy only a book labelled ACS101 / 2026-27 scheme; older PPS (BCS101) guides miss the two Python units, so if you use one, pair it with free Python notes.
