  • Karaikal port and region
  • Central and UT public sector units in Puducherry

Good to know

  • CGPA to %: % = (CGPA - 0.5) x 10, per PTU B.Tech Regulations 2021 (Reg. 9.6). Grades S=10, A=9, B=8, C=7, D=6, E=5, F=0.
  • About 155 to 160 credits; two SWAYAM online courses count as open electives. Pass needs 40% in end exam and 50% overall.
  • Failed courses (arrears) are rewritten in later semesters; from the 4th attempt, 50% in the end exam alone is enough for an E grade. Lateral entrants study 6 semesters (max 12).
